Although the city of Prague has strengthened the capacity for reserving a date for the settlement of urgent matters at the Department of Traffic Administration Activities by October 30, the reservation system is already full. Therefore, reservations will be extended again in the near future, until the end of November.
The reservation system of the Department of Transport Administration of the City of Prague is currently allocated to deal with urgent matters. Currently, the reservation system is full, however, it would be advisable to regularly monitor the system to see if a date is released. The reservation system usually offers appointments for the next two weeks, but according to experience, about twenty per cent of people do not come to their appointment at all and thus block the appointment for others. For longer bookings, the proportion of people who did not show up was even higher in the past. It is possible to cancel the reservation and free up space for other potential applicants. Available dates for setting up an appointment until the end of November will be opened by the Department of Transport Administration in the near future.
At the same time, the city of Prague urges the public to visit the authorities during the emergency only in necessary cases that cannot be postponed, using only the ordering system on the website www.praha.eu and communicate electronically if possible. It is also necessary to maintain safe distances, hygiene principles and wear respiratory protection throughout the visit to the office.
Based on government regulations, the city of Prague adjusted the office hours to Monday from 8.00 am to 1.00 pm and Wednesday from 1 pm to 6.00 pm. An exception is the Department of Transport Administration, which operates on other working days as well, but only on appointment basis.
