Use REUSE and give your pre-loved items a second life

That’s where RE-USE Prague comes in. Through this new project, you can easily donate your unwanted items at designated collection points across Prague. The RE-USE locations will carefully store, photograph, and list these items, making it easy for others in the community to discover and reuse them.

How does it work?

• ReUse point = centre for reusing objects.
• A citizen arrives at the collection yard and is given the opportunity to take usable items to the ReUse point. (no ID required; service available to foreigners)
• The ReUse Point operator will receive the items, take photos and place them on the Nevyhazujto.cz portal.
• These items are automatically offered to all Nevyhazujto.cz users as people donate them.
• Nevyhazujto.cz users reserve the items and then have 48 hours from the moment of reservation to pick them up at the ReUse point.
• Once picked up and reused by the new owners, the items are returned to the cycle and no unnecessary bulky waste is created that would otherwise often end up in incinerators.

What do ReUse points accept?

• Smaller furniture (except upholstered furniture); larger items only by prior arrangement directly with the ReUse point
• kitchenware and utensils

• sports equipment
• toys
• books
• CDs and CD-ROMs
• art objects
• musical instruments
• clocks and alarm clocks
• strollers
• car seats
• swings
• suitcases and bags
• other household and garden items (excluding electrical appliances)

Visit Sto•re (pictured) - a curated re•use centre in Hall 13 at Holešovická tržnice Monday - Friday: 11:00 am - 06:00 pm to get a glimpse of what is there to be found at the collection yards.
