Are you struggling to find a place to rent in Prague? You’re not alone!
The housing market can be tough — especially if you’re new to the country. Language barriers, legal requirements, and high demand can make the process even more challenging. Join us for our workshop led by experts Veronika Kostelecká and Petr Pijáček from SIMI — a human rights organisation supporting expats in the Czech Republic. This workshop will guide you step by step through the rental process. You’ll gain practical tips, real-life examples, and a chance to ask your own questions.
Why Attend:
Whether you’ve just arrived in Prague or have been here for a while and still feel overwhelmed by the rental process, this workshop will give you the tools, expert advice, and insider tips you need to find a stable, suitable home. The workshop is based on the newly launched Rental Housing Manual, developed by SIMI, and expands on it with real-world examples, interactive discussion, and space for your questions. You’ll also get to know more about SIMI – The Association for Integration and Migration, a human rights NGO that supports expats in the Czech Republic through legal, social, and psychosocial counselling, intercultural work, and advocacy. SIMI promotes an open and inclusive society and works to ensure equal opportunities for all.
